During a recent workshop I was asked some questions that I knew I needed to share here as they pertain to everybody. This is information that a lot of people don’t have, but should.
Q: How do I handle the interview “weakness” question?
A: This question puts you on the defensive, makes you afraid. Change your paradigm to see it as comparing your skill sets against each other instead of against other people. Don’t deflect, they know you have weaknesses. Practice your answer before the interview.
How do you give the answer?
Q: How do I get good feedback from my boss? They don’t like conflict or being honest with me but I want to be promoted.
A: The feedback your boss gives you is what you need to work on because that is how they see you. Knowing what they’re thinking is important.
How do you get helpful feedback?
