How do you handle the problem of a counterpart who doesn’t do their job? Keep your branding and performance high by managing this situation in the right way. Learn some new tips and tools that may help out a bad work situation.

STUFF WE LEARN IN THIS EPISODE

What to do when a counterpart isn’t holding up their responsibilities?

  1. Don’t complain to anybody.
    • Go to that individual and ask them what is occurring.
    • If they made a mistake ask them why it happened and how it can be solved.
    • Listen!
  2. The second time around bring in one more person to help negotiate the situation.
    • ¬†You can’t make someone change, it has to come from inside.

Live by the 2 Strike Rule. Give people 2 chances. Address the issue with patience and compassion after the first incident and if it happens again you can change your approach.

QUOTES BY CHRIS

“You never know what happened in someone’s life that has stopped them from progressing.”
