CONTENT WE LEARN IN THIS EPISODE
Not being able to focus is instinctually driven by the desire to avoid negative emotions associated with the fear of failure. Your brain tells you everything is important, but it isn’t! Working through the panic, self-doubt, and fear will help you with the adrenaline and assist you with increasing your focus.
The biggest barrier to success and achievement is getting started! We visualize how difficult the task will be and thus delay starting. We can overcome this by using a few different tools. Optimal levels of stress create the sweet spot for your performance. A certain amount of stress is helpful, but too much stress can become debilitating. You need a balance between stress and brain arousal.
